Hydraulic cylinders for the plastics industry and injection moulding machinesISO 6020/2 (CD/DK/MD) and compact RP/MP/RQ

Double-acting hydraulic cylinders for mould clamping, injection moulding machines, part ejection and fixtures in plastics production. Tie-rod cylinders CD / DK / MD to ISO 6020/2 (160 bar, Ø 25–200 mm) and compact RP / MP / RQ series for limited space. Standardised ISO mountings ensure interchangeability and easy maintenance in multi-shift operation. The MD / MP series adds sensors for end-position detection. Supplied by hydraulika.store, an authorised distributor of Conforti Oleodinamica for the EU — with an online configurator, free CAD models and delivery within 14 working days (48 h for urgent orders).

Need to monitor the piston position in the cycle? The MD series (tie-rod) and the compact MP have a magnetic piston and SH / SR / SP sensors — on the tie-rods for MD (sliding anywhere along the stroke, intermediate and end positions), in the profile slot for MP — they signal the piston position to the PLC. Suitable for controlling the injection moulding cycle and monitoring an open/closed mould. More about cylinders with position sensors →
Little space in the mould or on the fixture? The compact RP / MP series (aluminium, 160 bar) and RQ (steel, up to 250 bar) have significantly smaller installation dimensions than tie-rod cylinders — ideal for side movements, ejection and auxiliary mechanisms in limited space. Online configurator

Configure your hydraulic cylinder for an injection moulding machine online

Choose the application, mounting, bore and stroke in the online configurator. It calculates the extend and retract force as well as the required oil flow, shows the 3D model and generates the cylinder configuration code (SKU) — including the tie-rod CD / DK / MD and compact RP / MP / RQ series.

Technical specifications

Technical specifications of cylinders for injection moulding machines

CD, DK and MD cylinders for plastics operation are manufactured to ISO 6020/2 (DIN 24554). The standard guarantees interchangeability with Parker Hannifin, Bosch Rexroth, Festo and others — replacement in the machine without design changes. For compact installation, the RP / MP / RQ series serve.

Which series for an injection moulding machine

Which series should you choose for plastics operation?

For mould clamping and the usual movements around an injection moulding machine, tie-rod cylinders CD / DK (ISO 6020/2) serve. For limited space in the mould or on the fixture, the compact RP / MP / RQ series are suitable. To monitor end positions and control the cycle, the MD series adds magnetic sensors.

Plastics applications

Where hydraulic cylinders are used in plastics production

Mould clamping, injection moulding machines, part ejection, side movements in the mould, hydraulic clamping and automated workstations around the injection moulding machine — from ISO 6020/2 tie-rod series (CD / DK, MD with sensors) to compact cylinders for limited space (RP / MP / RQ). A direct replacement for Parker, Bosch Rexroth or Festo wherever cycle repeatability, reliability and spare-part availability are decisive.

CAD & technical documentation

CAD models and 2D drawings of cylinders for injection moulding machines

Download the 3D model or 2D drawing for your precisely configured hydraulic cylinder — tie-rod CD / DK / MD and compact RP / MP / RQ. The model matches the bore, rod, mounting (or ports) and stroke from the configurator. STEP, IGES, Parasolid, STL, DWG, DXF and PDF formats free of charge.

How to get a 3D model or drawing of a cylinder for an injection moulding machine

  1. 1
Configure the cylinder — set the bore, rod, mounting and stroke in the configurator above
  2. 2
Open the 2D / 3D model section — after adding the product to your request, the configuration code (SKU) is shown
  3. 3
Enter the configuration code (SKU) — paste the cylinder code into the "CODE WIZARD" and confirm the configuration
  4. 4
Choose a format and download — STEP, IGES, Parasolid, DWG, DXF and more
