Hydraulic Cylinders for Testing and Clamping Equipment
Double-acting hydraulic cylinders for test rigs and testing frames, materials and fatigue testers, and hydraulic clamping of workpieces and fixtures. Tie-rod cylinders to ISO 6020/2 (CD / DK, 160 bar, tested at 240 bar, Ø 25–200 mm) maintain a precise, repeatable force.
The MD / MP series with a magnetic piston sends the piston position back to the PLC to control both the clamping and the testing cycle. For clamps in confined spaces, the compact RP / MP is used.

Select your cylinder’s parameters
Set the series, mounting, bore and stroke directly in the manufacturer’s CodeWizard. It builds the exact cylinder, generates the configuration code (SKU) and a technical datasheet, lets you download the CAD model, and sends your request for quotation straight to us — no separate inquiry form needed.

Which cylinder type for testing and clamping?
Servo cylinders TD / TK / TH / TX give continuous rod position over the whole stroke — the choice for materials and fatigue testers. Where only the clamped and home positions need confirming, the tie-rod MD is enough; for clamps in confined spaces the compact MP.
Where the cylinders are used
Test rigs, materials testers and hydraulic clamping fixtures — wherever repeatable force and precise position matter.
Repeatable force, precise position and cyclic service life.
- CD / DK
- Test rigs, testing frames and hydraulic workpiece clamping — the ISO 6020/2 tie-rod envelope up to 160 bar, 100% tested at 240 bar to ISO 10100.
- MD / MP
- Control of both the clamping and the testing cycle — a magnetic piston and SH / SR / SP sensors report the clamped and home positions straight to the PLC.
- RP / MP / RQ
- Clamps and fixtures in confined spaces — a compact envelope, aluminium up to 160 bar or the steel RQ up to 250 bar with proximity sensors.
